How much are old WWF figures worth?
Hasbro's WWF line looks common at first glance (the early Hulk Hogans and Ultimate Warriors were everywhere) but the line ran in waves, and the later series had shorter runs and smaller print numbers. That's where the surprises hide: a figure you don't recognise from the tail end of the line can be worth many times the famous names. Carded figures and the rings do well too.
The LJN rubber wrestlers are a different kind of collectable: big, solid and almost always playworn, with chipped paint the norm rather than the exception. They're wanted anyway, as are Galoob's short-lived WCW figures, which had a strong UK release. The only figure that counts is the one you're actually paid. Are loose Hasbro wrestlers without the ring worth selling?
Yes. Loose figures are the standard way these survived, and a tub of them is a proper job lot. The later, shorter-run figures in particular can be worth far more than people expect, so send photos of everyone, not just the famous names.
My LJN figures have chipped paint and pen marks. Still wanted?
Still wanted. The big rubber LJN wrestlers almost always show paint wear, and plenty carry a biro tattoo or two from playground trades. It's priced in; they're still collectable.
